6 million animals enter US animal control centers each year, 20% were adopted from a shelter. (ASPCA) Marrying your pet will represent the type of commitment we share as humans, and the recognition that you are committed to care of your animal for the rest of your/their life – in sickness and in health. Participants will be provided a pet marriage certificate to take home, as well as a stamp for their pets paw, and an online resource to share their personal stories of pet commitment.
